Business Function
Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions - whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.
Job Purpose
The Group Finance Platform team manages the development and operations of a portfolio of systems and applications that are key to the running of the finance organisation. We are looking for an inividual to manage the efficient and effective running of our platfrrm operations.
Key Accountabilities
  • Main point of contact for program management office on all matters relating to project status and financials, contracts, procurement, logistics and audit matters
  • Perform monthly program financial reporting with accuracy
  • Ensure invoices are paid out timely with accurate amount
  • Facilitating ad-hoc requests from project team
Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Track project expenses against budget and ensure charge out accuracy
  • Raise reversals to correct incorrect charges
  • Track and submit accruals and budget transfers
  • Forecast budget and expenses in Investment and P&L view
  • Assist project managers in budget planning process
  • Reconcile and report project financials and administer project status
  • Liaise with unit controllers on all budget matters
  • Confirm invoices and expenses in procurement system
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Liaise with various parties on payment settlement
  • Assist project team to administer, review and lodge contracts
  • Assist project team on procurement and logistics matters
  • Administer and manage/track online/physical assets
  • Identify, implement and document project process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure project complies to established policies and controls
  • Manage responses to audit queries
  • Liaise with vendor regarding new resource requirement, arranging interviews
  • Onboarding of new joiners and discharging of resources
Required Experience
  • Degree in Banking, Business Administration, or Engineering
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in program office management
  • Strong Project Management skills and understanding of Project Management rigour
  • Familiar with Excel formula and PowerPoint slides creation
  • Sound knowledge in financial management & understand CAPEX/OPEX/Depre/Ownership etc
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize and analyze financial details with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong coordination skills with the ability to coordinate, organize and give instructions to guide various parties to attend logistics requests and resolve financial matters
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Excellent working attitude
  • Meticulous and highly organized and able to work under pressure in a time-critical environment

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to work with Finance Platform hubs and technology partners
  • Detail-oriented with strong presentation, analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive attitude, delivery focused and results oriented
  • Self-motivated individual with strong sense of responsibility and accountability
  • Attention to details and highly organized and able to work with complexity, ambiguity and under pressure in a time-critical environment
  • Solid Excel, data analysis, and knowledge of BI tools is a plus
  • Ability to work independently, self-starter and able to work under stress
