Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Responsibilities
Ensure day to day loan transactions are promptly & accurately processed and authorized within stipulated Service Level Agreement including handling of enquiries from Business Units Work closely within/across teams, Business Units and other stakeholders on the daily transactions Review reports and perform investigation of General Ledger Account Ownership (GLAO) breaks / discrepancies Ensure all discrepancies are communicated to all respective teams for timely investigations Ensure timely follow up with the respective teams, Business Units and other relevant stakeholders to close the discrepancies Update source balances in GLAO system and assign category of breaks for review and sign-off by Team Manager Ensure discrepancies are accurately categorized into aging buckets are appropriately escalated to the relevant managerial stakeholders for their attention Lead and drive projects/initiatives and engage the teams on process improvements to achieve KPIs Participate in ad-hoc projects (including UAT/LVs) and ensuring that the assigned tasks are completed within stipulated time frame Provide guidance and training to staff to ensure Department SOP, Bank's policies and guidelines are strictly adhered to Maintain updated Standard Operating Procedures Timely escalation of operational risks incidents Requirements
Degree holder from a recognized University with 5 years or above in loan operations with system knowledge in Finacle is an advantage . Meticulous, analytical and mathematically inclined with basic accounting concepts Good working attitude and have a problem-solving mindset, apply creative thinking to identify risks gaps and propose effective solutions or remediation plans. Strong interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the organisation and demands of both internal and external stakeholders Team player as well as ability to work independently and multi-tasking under tight timelines Able to support International Branches in different time zone Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel & PowerPoint Apply Now
