Job Purpose
Group Finance Systems (GFS) aims to be a solid partner to the finance function and other parts of the bank that uses the various systems owned by the GFS team. Within the GFS team, there is a need for a Peoplesoft Financials Business Analyst to understand and support the analysis and testing needs of multiple Key projects/enhancements of the PeopleSoft Financials modules (General Ledger / Accounts Payable / Asset Management / Accounting Ownership / Accounts Receivable & Billing / Lease Accounting engine).
The chosen candidate will be a 'Peoplesoft Financials Business Analyst' handling techno-functional analysis, documentation, co-ordination, testing and change management for Key Projects/BAU enhancements from a Business perspective.

Responsibilities
Key Accountablities
Peoplesoft Financials Business Analyst - coordinating and managing the end-to-end analysis & documentation of all as-is functionalities covering every minute detail, come up with a plan of action to build the to-be functionality, coordination between Tech and Business and keep up the quality and quantity on deliverables, handle change management for multiple Key projects + BAU enhancements from a Business perspective, understand the existing security framework and coordinate in synergising them into common matrix.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Document the all as-is functionalities (delivered and customization) across all modules covering Upstream, core-processing, Downstream.
  • Track each minute detail to keep water-tight control and up to date documentation.
  • Track all new change requests that are assigned to Peoplesoft Financials and bring it to prioritization forum.
  • Understand the prevailing security matrix/framework and come up with a synergised common matrix.
  • Manage book of work with the Technology teams - both in terms of bringing items for discussion during bi-monthly prioritization forum and tracking it for delivery and closure.
  • Participate in regression testing from Peoplesoft Financials application perspective, representing Group Finance systems.
  • Act as an interface between Technology and Business teams in terms of delivery timelines, development statuses, user clarifications, clear bottlenecks, obtain user signoffs.
  • Ensure issues / enhancements are tracked end to end for logical closure.
  • Keep a close tab of all enhancements/minor projects that are concurrently running in terms of timelines and statues.
  • Must be extremely diligent in multi-tasking.
  • Timely escalation of any potential bottleneck / delay to Peoplesoft SME.

Requirements
Experience
  • Around 10-15 years of experience in a similar role handling testing and analysis.
  • Must have prior techno-functional experience on Peoplesoft Financials suite of systems.
  • Must be able to interpret and understand the system processes in a logical manner.
  • Must have prior experience of working in large banks or financial institution of similar nature.
Education
  • Professional Degree in Computer and/or Finance
