Charterhouse is working with a multinational property & land development client who is looking to hire a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its operational and project based business portfolio across the regional markets. With a reporting line to the CEO, this role at a regional level shall take overview & management of all aspects pertaining to financial management & operational matters.

The finance aspect will cover off all areas of financial accounting and reporting; to deliver strong MIS capabilities along with financial planning & analytical provisions to support the commercial objectives and the CEO office. These finance responsibilities shall also extend to the management of treasury & cash flow management whilst overseeing the working capital management. In conjunction with this, the position shall also oversee all statutory reporting to achieve regulatory requirements coupled with internal governance and alignment for external audits.

From an operational prospective, the remit shall cover all areas of internal processes & controllership. This in part, shall link to internal compliance, procurement & supply chain related matters and the subsequent management of these processes & policies to deliver efficiencies of cost, time and margins. In turn, the operations shall also support the business in developing performance monitoring & service levels both internally and external to the end customer/user. The client also requires that this operational coverage spans the oversight of information technology matters, linked to the development & management, of adequate ITC & ERP systems and processes.

The role will look to recruit a seasoned financial professional who is capable of delivering across a broad ranging mandate, with a pragmatic background from within a multi-national organisation. The successful candidate shall be required to lead & develop a team across the regional business whilst being able to support senior lines & business development within a matrix based reporting structure. The CFO candidate will need to demonstrate excellent controllership & governance with a sound practical background within international best practice whilst also possessing regional exposure to property development & real estate sectors.
