As a Business Development Manager Commercial Cards, the role will drive strategic growth and innovation in commercial cards, virtual payments, and fintech partnerships across the GCC region. The position holder will have extensive experience in business development, client acquisition, and market expansion within banks, hospitality, travel, and government areas. This role requires strong leadership, project management, and the ability to foster impactful business relationships with key clients and partners.




Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Drive acquisition and relationship management for commercial card solutions across internal, external and enterprise clients.


• Develop and execute strategies for market expansion and client acquisition across key regions.


• Prospect, pitch, and close commercial card deals (T&E, B2B, Corporate, Purchasing, Virtual Cards).


• Deliver consultative selling on spend management, controls, and working-capital benefits.


• Manage pipelines, proposals, pricing, and end-to-end deal cycle.


• Partner with RMs, Product, and Implementation for seamless onboarding.


• Achieve sales targets for billed volume, ENR, and revenue.

• Previous sales & business development experience in commercial cards & solutions, or B2B payment sales.


• The ability to drive fintech and ecosystem partnerships.


• Experience in managing high-value portfolios and leading cross-functional teams.


• Competent and adept with AI business strategy, team leadership, business development, client acquisition, market expansion, project management, and process optimisation.


• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP solutions, and high-tech systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).


• Previous experience within Banking, Digital Payment & Card solutions, or the FinTech industry.


• Regional experience, including working in a faced-paced matrix organisation.


• Excellent communication skills in English (written, verbal, and presentation); Arabic preferred.

• The ability to analyse data, troubleshoot payment issues, optimize processes, and make data-driven decisions.


• Good understanding of payment systems, digital platforms, system workflows, security basics, and industry technologies.


• An understanding of regional regulations across financial services or payment networks.
