Software Engineer - Enterprise/Solutions Architect

This opportunity is to join the Enterprise Architecture team, partnering with members of Core Engineering as well as the broader engineering organization to drive IT strategy, architecture standards and technical governance across Goldman Sachs.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL • Help define and implement architecture and roadmaps
• Identify opportunities to enhance technical governance processes
• Drive standardization and automation of key controls across enterprise platforms
• Partner with engineers across the organization on global initiatives to deliver architectural solution proposals
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR • 5+ years of relevant Enterprise Architecture experience
• Experience in creating enterprise or solution architectures for major applications or change programs
• Good understanding of enterprise platforms, including infrastructure management (Cloud, compute, storage, network), CI/CD toolchains, data warehousing as well as asset and services catalog systems
• Drive to continuously challenge and improve existing processes and practices of an organization
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, partnering with stakeholders across all levels to drive standardization and strategic roadmap
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present with impact and influence
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a strong delivery focus
Preferred Qualifications • Experience and knowledge of Enterprise Architecture in a financial institution
• Technical controls implementation in enterprise systems
• Knowledge of TOGAF and/or other EA methodologies and frameworks
• Audit, compliance, quality assurance, testing, or control and oversight related experience a plus
