As business environments rapidly evolve through AI and digital transformation, we are expanding the role of Business Research beyond traditional information gathering. We are looking for highly motivated researchers who are equally excited about shaping the future of AI-enabled knowledge work. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine business research excellence with hands-on experimentation in AI-supported research workflows, tools, copilots, and emerging technologies. You will not only support consulting teams with high-quality insights but also help redefine how research is conducted within a leading global consulting firm. You will work closely with consultants, Knowledge Management teams, and innovation-focused colleagues to improve research effectiveness, accelerate insight generation, and scale smarter ways of working across the organization.

The salary for this position ranges from PLN 9 000 to PLN 12 000 gross/month (UoP), depending on the candidate's relevant experience, skill set, level of expertise and overall fit for the role. Additional factors such as industry background, technical competencies and interview performance may also influence the final offer. The compensation package at Simon-Kucher CBS consists of a gross base salary, a monthly remote work allowance and an annual bonus. The bonus is paid in December and is based on the results of a 360-degree performance evaluation.

How you will create an impact:

• You will collaborate with consulting teams and colleagues on a broad range of business research and knowledge initiatives:
  • Translate client questions into structured and hypothesis-driven research approaches.
  • Research and analyze market, company, competitor, and industry information for consulting engagements and business development activities.
  • Compile and synthesize data, facts, and key insights into clear and actionable deliverables.
  • Prepare company overviews, market assessments, competitive analyses, and industry landscapes.
  • Support consultants in solving strategic and commercial challenges through structured thinking and practical execution.
  • Build and develop expertise in one or more "spikes" (e.g., industry, function, geography, or topic area).
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of research processes, standards, and knowledge-sharing approaches.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, research quality, and scalability through AI-supported methods and automation.
• AI & Innovation Responsibilities - as part of our ambition to modernize and scale AI-enabled knowledge work, you will also:
  • Experiment with AI-supported research workflows, copilots, agents, and automation tools.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify practical use cases for business research and consulting support.
  • Develop and refine prompting strategies, reusable workflows, and best practices for AI-supported research.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate data gathering, synthesis, summarization, trend detection, and hypothesis generation.
  • Critically validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, bias, consistency, and business relevance.
  • Contribute ideas for improving internal knowledge accessibility and research effectiveness through AI.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across teams to pilot and scale innovative AI-enabled research approaches.
  • Act as an early adopter and internal ambassador for AI-supported ways of working.

Your profile:

• 1-2 years of experience in Business Research, Information Management, Knowledge Management, consulting support, or a comparable environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A collaborative and engaged team-player mentality.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• The ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new industries, topics, and business questions.
• A proactive and hands-on mindset with strong ownership and curiosity.
• Interest in emerging AI technologies and their application in business contexts.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, or similar platforms.
• Interest in experimenting with AI-assisted workflows, automation, and knowledge solutions.
• The ability to critically assess the quality and reliability of AI-generated outputs.
• A bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, business informatics, knowledge management, data & analytics, or a related field.
