RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS HOW YOU WILL FULFIL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Preparation, analysis and submission of a number of international payrolls (including Poland), developing detailed knowledge of local tax, social security withholding rules.
  • Liaising with external payroll agencies and coordinating the monthly, quarterly and annual local filing requirements for payroll reporting
  • Take full ownership and become the subject matter expert for entire regional payrolls and handle queries from internal employees and clients and external Government and other agencies
  • Understanding the business and strategy of your entities, keeping up-to-date with business and market developments and communicating this effectively to key stakeholders
  • Adhering to local and global compensation policies and ensuring full compliance with the local rules and legislation
  • Leading and facilitating reporting to local authorities such as National Bank of Poland, Central Statistical Office, etc. with regular interaction with multiple teams across the firm and across the globe
  • Coordination with multiple teams across the firm - and across the globe - including HCM, Legal, Compliance, Tax and Corporate Controllers , in a collaborative and problem-solving capacity
  • Proactively seeking opportunities to improve our workflows, technology, and integrity of reporting information
  • Understand the impact of regulatory developments and proactively work to identify solutions
  • Involvement in a broad range of cross-divisional projects and initiatives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Financial professionals
  • Able to demonstrate technical payroll or local knowledge in your current area of expertise
  • Experience in preparation of payrolls under Polish rules.
  • Good understanding of Polish tax and social security requirements
  • A track record of improving processes and adding value to clients/stakeholders

PAYROLL JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent global payroll skills, in particular with Polish payroll experience, preferably within Peoplesoft 9.0 or similar
  • Ability to work with financial data and spreadsheets
  • You demonstrate strong technical skills, pay attention to detail, take initiative to broaden your knowledge and resolve accounting issues
  • Personal drive and motivation - Successfully handle multiple tasks, take initiative to improve your own performance, work intensely towards challenging goals
  • Highly logical mind-set, able to problem solve
  • System literate ability to manipulate MS office application and Web/Java based systems (Peoplesoft 9.0)
  • Strong work ethic and team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Takes Initiative - capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Understanding of regional Tax procedures
  • Familiarity with Benefits and Other Wage Deductions
