Business Management & Intelligent Automation Analyst
JPMorgan Chase seeks to do business with suppliers who provide the best price, quality and capability to meet our business needs. Global Supplier Services (GSS) brings together Sourcing, Third Party Oversight, Procurement Operations, and Accounts Payable into one team. This group of nearly 800 employees (in 11 countries) manages the source to pay processes for JPMorgan Chase and provides a governance model which includes strong risk management practices, enhanced performance monitoring, greater scale and strong client engagement. The GSS team works proactively with Line of Business (LOB) colleagues to identify capable suppliers, lead the competitive sourcing process and negotiate contracts with selected suppliers. Leveraging firm-wide buying power and controlling risk are consistent overarching goals. GSS then ensures that the contracted goods and services can be obtained by our employees in an efficient, cost-effective manner globally. The JP Morgan Global Supplier Services Operations team is a centralized operational group within Global Supplier Services that manages procurement operations, corporate accounts payable operations, travel & entertainment claim processing, accounting & indirect tax operations.

As part of GSS Operations, MIS analysts improve the flow of information within an organization through technology. They apply strong analytical skills, intuitive thinking, and digital expertise to carefully examine how people in an organization use data and technological tools. After performing their research, MIS analysts create strategies for information to be shared in a more effective way. They recommend a simple change to an existing process or implement an entire hardware and software upgrade for a company.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
  • As an Analyst in the Business Management & Intelligent Automation team, you will play a key role in designing and developing the BI landscape by building state of the art solutions that improve business performance and decision making, primarily using Robotic Process Automation & Workflow Automation tools such as Alteryx, Xceptor, WinAutomation or AutomationAnywhere.
  • Provide support and maintenance to existing management information systems (MIS) as well as provide recommendations to update current MIS to improve reporting efficiency and consistency
  • Generate both periodic and ad hoc reports as needed and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner
  • Develop MIS documentation to allow for smooth operations and easy system maintenance as well as develop MIS system for customer management and internal communication
  • Perform data analysis for generating reports on periodic basis and provide strong reporting and analytical information support to management team
  • Analyse and understand business information to identify process improvements for increasing business efficiency and effectiveness
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to resolve recurring customer issues
  • Provide customer support and assistance in issue troubleshooting and resolution
  • Partner with the relevant line of business stakeholders in resolving any issues, end users are experiencing with processing of corporate card applications or processing of expense claims
  • Support the accounting services & payment teams to ensure all transactions are paid and accounted for appropriately
  • Participate in working groups supporting strategic platform changes & process improvement initiatives
  • Responsible for employee engagement, satisfaction & welfare through the employee life cycle
  • Partner with operations groups globally to ensure consistency of process delivery, customer experience & control environment
Knowledge and Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of Business Analytics, BI , Business Process Automation or other related technical experience;
  • Excellent understanding of RPA, ETL and data blending tools (Alteryx, Xceptor, WinAutomation or Automation Anywhere) required;
  • Strong experience with data modelling and warehouse design;
  • Expertise in creating and optimizing SQL statements
  • Experience in Agile or Scrum practices
  • Experience with BI and data visualization tools (Qlikview, Tableau, Business Objects, Cognos) nice-to-have
