Job Summary:

The Global Occupational Health and Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company's health and safety programs across the globe. This role ensures that all OHS policies, procedures, and practices are compliant with local, national, and global regulatory requirements. The manager will work closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and wellbeing across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Global OHS Strategy: Lead the development of a comprehensive global health and safety strategy, policies, and programs tailored to the unique needs of professional services settings.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to international health and safety standards (ISO 45001, OSHA, etc.) and applicable regional regulations. Pursue and obtain ISO 45001 certification. Participate in regular assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential areas of noncompliance or nonconformance.
  • Training and Education: Design and deliver training programs for employees, contractors, and partners, promoting safe practices and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with HR, Facilities, Operations, and other departments to ensure adherence to OHS requirements and integrate OHS best practices across the business.
  • Data Analytics and Reporting: Develop OHS performance metrics and dashboards for regular reporting to leadership. Leverage data analytics to track trends, benchmark performance, and make informed decisions.
  • Other projects as assigned

Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in occupational health and safety, with at least 1-2 years in a global or multi-regional role.
  • Knowledge and Skills:
    • Strong understanding of global OHS regulations and standards (ISO, OSHA, EU, etc.).
    • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic OHS programs across multiple regions.
    • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
    • Experience in a professional services or corporate environment is a plus.
    • Strong English written and verbal skills.
