Vendor Risk Management Expert, Officer
Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) team is responsible for providing Enterprise wide services, including an operating model, policies, procedures, governance and oversight programs for all regions and countries where State Street Corporation conducts business. The TPRM program has been established to respond to, and adhere to, new and existing regulatory guidelines and initiatives enabling State Street to effectively assess and manage the risk introduced by engaging with third parties, including vendors, during the course of executing business activities.

Basic Purpose and Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for various elements of the TPRM policy and program across the enterprise
  • Participate in any TPRM program adjustments and support their implementation
  • Assist senior staff in designated projects and assignments, and in completing basic research, analysis and reporting, and may act as a coordinator on projects
  • Research and resolve routine issues with guidance from more senior staff and consult with senior staff where clarification or exception to policy may be required
  • Collect and document third party/vendor risk information for measurement, analysis and reporting
  • Prepare reports as directed
  • Liaise with business stakeholders, ERM, Compliance, Legal, Procurement and Technology teams

  • University degree, MBA a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • 5-8 years of experience in Third Party / Vendor / Supplier / Control / Compliance/Risk Management areas gained in a financial industry
  • Vendor / Third Party / Outsourcing Risk Management background preferred
  • Vendor / Third Party Regulatory knowledge preferred
  • Experience with Archer a plus
  • Proven related financial services experience, risk & regulatory related experience desired
