Senior Risk Manager (Business Control, EMEA CAO Shared Service), AVP
Purpose of Role:
To act as senior risk reporting expert in the Central EMEA Business Control Risk Reporting Unit.
Responsibility for executing EMEA Business Control Central Reporting Team Expansion by leading, creating and maintaining an efficient and standardized framework for risk and control reporting to support the EMEA region.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide managerial support to direct reports, including the facilitation of one to one meetings, performance reviews and other managerial support
  • Ensure that the team is in compliance with internal and external regulations and that escalation procedures are followed
  • Execute EMEA Business Control Central Reporting Team Expansion and Standardization Strategy Lead Risk and Control Reporting activities across EMEA region, including report design and standardization in line with regional and global requirements
  • Lead and review holistic risk analysis of all risk reports produced by the team Act as Subject Matter Expert with regards to risk and control reporting
  • Manage maintenance of risk indicators across EMEA region (along with efficiency of current indicators, proposing changes to Risk Indicators),
  • Lead administration of business risk forums across EMEA region (meeting organization, setup and maintenance)
  • Deputize for Senior Risk and Governance Manager, AVP
  • Develop and retain effective working relationships and communications with EMEA Business Control Managers and other EMEA stakeholders

Required Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with a focus in related field preferred
  • 5 years plus years of related experience
  • Prior experience of Operational Risk and Controls required
  • Working / Advanced level knowledge of Risk and Controls Frameworks
  • Working/ Advanced level knowledge and understanding of the EMEA Regulatory Framework
  • Working/Advanced knowledge of risk reporting tools and best practices,
  • Understanding of Data Science and data analysis models,
  • Understanding of Lean Process Management methods,
  • Working/ Advanced level knowledge and understand of the custody and fund administration industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Ability to be flexible and to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Exhibits strong attention to detail
