I am partnering with a global financial services institute who is seeking an analytical individual with substantive development experience and strong knowledge of testing principles to join their team in Poland as a Risk Models Developer.
The role has been created primarily to provide high-quality programming bandwidth into Strategic Analytics unit within the international risk business. The Risk Models Developer will contribute to all aspects of programming work-within potentially several prototyping teams-in the construction and testing of analytic platforms. A high degree of flexibility is required as projects will need the Model developer to alternate rapidly between two very different operating modes: rapid prototyping in the construction of proof-of-concept platforms and development of polished software platforms for use in the business.
The role will be instrumental in the accelerated development of prototypes that could materially influence the process of risk analysis and risk measurement. The creation of the role coincides with the establishment of a dedicated research and development. The new platforms and methods created by this unit will substantially improve the consistency of risk model development across functions; streamline the operational profile of model development projects (reducing costs and time); reduce the risk of project failure; and dramatically improve the model deployment process.
The development of this role, and R&D unit, will position my client as a leading research house for the modernisation of risk analytics within the banking sector.
