Senior Program Manager (PMO Governance & Compliance)

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is part of CBRE Group, which employs over 140,000 people worldwide. We provide fully integrated real estate, facilities management, and technology solutions for owners, occupiers, and investors across the globe.

As a global provider of integrated FM services and corporate real estate services, GWS operates in 48 countries, creating stable and safe working environments for our clients and their teams. We focus on comprehensive facility maintenance and efficient infrastructure management, supporting organizations in their daily operations. Thanks to the expertise of our specialists and modern tools, we ensure efficient, predictable, and responsible property management throughout the entire lifecycle of real estate assets.

About the Role

As a CBRE Senior Program Manager, you will lead PMO governance, compliance, document controls, and operational excellence across a portfolio of commercial real estate projects. This role focuses on establishing and maintaining effective governance frameworks, compliance standards, reporting processes, and operational controls rather than directly managing project delivery.

You will manage a small team and work closely with stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies to ensure audit readiness, policy compliance, information governance, and consistent program management standards.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and develop a small PMO team, providing coaching, mentoring, and day-to-day leadership.

• Own and continuously improve PMO governance processes, controls, reporting standards, and documentation frameworks.

• Drive compliance, audit readiness, and risk management initiatives across the project portfolio.

• Oversee document control, information governance, and records management processes.

• Support and coordinate security reviews, access management controls, and governance assessments.

• Develop and maintain executive dashboards, reports, presentations, and performance metrics.

• Create and maintain governance guidance, standards, procedures, and best practices for project teams.

• Partner with Compliance, Legal, Security, and Operations stakeholders to ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.

• Support data retention, storage, and information management requirements in line with corporate standards.

• Lead initiatives to improve governance tools, workflows, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on governance and compliance matters.

• Facilitate governance reviews, audits, workshops, and leadership meetings while driving accountability and continuous improvement.

What You'll Need:

• University degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

• Fluent English (written and spoken), with the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders across multiple countries and regions.

• 8+ years of experience in PMO, Program Management, Governance, Compliance, Controls, or Operations roles.

• Experience supporting medium to large, cross-functional programs within a complex international environment.

• Experience managing or mentoring team members.

• Strong understanding of PMO operations, governance frameworks, risk management, reporting, and program controls.

• Experience in compliance management, audit readiness, business controls, or governance programs.

• Experience in document controls, records management, information governance, or compliance operations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver presentations to senior stakeholders.

• Strong stakeholder management, client relationship management, and influencing skills.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

• Experience developing policies, procedures, standards, and operational guidance.

Preferred:

• Understanding of commercial real estate project environments.

• PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or similar project/program management certifications.

What We Offer:

• A remote role based in Poland, offering work-life balance and flexibility.

• A supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and teamwork.

• Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.

• The opportunity to work with an interesting international client in a dynamic and growing company.

• A comprehensive benefits package including private medical care, a MultiSport sports card co-participation, and life insurance facilitation.
