In the role of Business Controls - Risk Manager you will be responsible for:
  • Coordinating INFRA risk & control workshops across GS EMEA products & services across all jurisdictions. Ensuring the appropriate and adequate participants will be in attendance and ensure appropriate facilities are in place to support the session
  • Acting as Company Secretary for INFRA workshops and prepare agendas, meeting materials, and meeting minutes. Actively manage follow-up actions.
  • Collecting and collating data required during the INFRA process, including but not limited to prior year assessments, Internal Audit reports, new product approvals, assurance test results, Operational Risk events, Outsourcing Risk Assessments, KRI and KPI data, process maps and key controls
  • Developing key relationships with Business Control, Enterprise Risk Management, and Compliance stakeholders across the region.

To be successful in this role, your experience should include:
  • Strong background in risk & control (e.g., Risk Management, Compliance, Audit)
  • Previous experience in conducting control assessments or assurance
  • Experience in financial services sector
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work towards tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and with virtual teams across different teams & jurisdictions
  • Strong time management: prioritization versus deadlines
  • Self-driven / proactive personality
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective communication, written and verbal
  • Knowledge of financial industry
  • Advanced PC literacy including: PowerPoint, Excel, MS Office
