You will be the senior coverage banker responsible for part of our Exploration & Production and Midstream portfolio.

Your job
The Senior Director Energy is responsible for the coverage and management of part of our E&P and Midstream portfolio. You will have the responsibility for building and maintaining a long and strong lasting client relationship with clients and prospects in this sector thereby creating an optimum contribution for the bank in terms of profitability, risk control and economic profit result. You will be the linking pin towards the products the bank can offer to our clients, Capital Structuring and Advisory, Sector Origination, Equity Capital Markets etc. You will have a team of young professionals working with you.

Your working environment
The team consists of 10 young (age between 26 and 50), ambitious colleagues. Our office is in Amsterdam. Energy falls within the Natural Resources team, we work closely with the Capital Structuring and Advisory and Sector Origination team of Natural Resources, but of course we work closely with the other products the bank has to offer as well (Structured Finance, Export Finance, Corporate Finance, Markets etc). We want our clients to understand our products. It's why we sometimes say 'no' if the risk attached to a product is too great for the client. Your profile
We are looking for an entrepreneurial colleague with ample coverage experience in the Oil and Gas industry, who can commit him/herself to stay within Energy for at least 5 years. Commitment is crucial in this type of business as you need to time to build relationships before you can reap the fruit of your hard work.

Check your profile:• Educated at university level.• Solid /extensive knowledge and experience of finance in the Oil and Gas industry• Extensive knowledge of skills and products by Capital Market Solutions, CFCM, Debt Solutions, Transaction Banking.• Extensive knowledge of international credit process (incl. credit application/ processing/ monitoring).• Basic knowledge of tax/legal/documentation/insurance/technical.• Solid /extensive negotiation skills in an international environment (including emerging markets).• Solid experience of key relationship management and multi level selling.• Excellent in speaking, writing and reading of both Dutch and English.
