You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and will lead the team (including Senior Officers and Officers) to achieve and meet their needs. Specific responsibilities include the following:
• As the team leader, you will use experience you have acquired in the past as well as excellent organizational skills, sound judgment, the ability to prioritize tasks, and strong personal character to help your team perform and grow. Your team will benefit from your good listening skills, tailored coaching, and planning;
• You will guide your Senior Officers and Officers in completing their work, and by extension acting as the final level of review;
• As the central point of contact for your accounts, capable of identifying and anticipating possible problem areas, you will be able to accurately measure potential risks and business expansion, and, therefore you will be able to offer suitable solutions to the client and satisfy their overall needs;
• You will guarantee all operational aspects of the account and you will be responsible for the financial monitoring of the client portfolio (including client invoicing and client specific requirements) and you will be accountable for the production of client reporting and Fund NAVs;
• You will be in charge of the coordination and validation of all work delivered by the team;
• You will manage the relationships with other service providers in the industry, including auditors, law firms, and banks;
• You will actively be involved in internal projects (e.g. product development, organizational improvements, and technical improvements) to meet and improve client needs;
• You will monitor and administer operational and compliance policies, procedures and processes in accordance with the Group's requirements and will monitor the adherence of such policies, procedures and processes by the officers and senior officers;
• You are responsible for creating and maintaining good quality of client services standard.
YOUR PROFILE:
• You are a fully qualified accounting professional (ACCA, FCCA, CPA, CA);
• You have at least 5 years of relevant post-qualification work experience in the fields of accounting, tax, audit or in the global business sector;
• Good Knowledge and exposure of the global business sector requirements for Funds and Fund Managers;
• Good Knowledge and exposure of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and knowledge of consolidation accounting would be an advantage;
• Good Knowledge and exposure of the Funds Industry, specifically Alternative Investment Funds (Private Equity Funds, Real Estate Funds);
• You have experience in leading, developing and coaching teams/others;
• You are fluent in English and French;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good listening skills;
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills;
• Ability to check and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
• You encourage teamwork and promote team spirit, ability to work in demanding and high pressure environment, motivation to work well as an individual and as a team, the capacity to build strong client relationships, and take decisions for the benefits of the team and the clients.
