The Solution Design Manager in RITS Special Projects Unit will support the execution of cybersecurity special projects, automation and orchestration of multiple security technologies across Prudential Asia's security operations. Executions include designing cyber security solutions and automations by working with multiple security, IT and engineering leadership/stakeholders and a variety of security, IT and engineering technical resources to identify and plan physical and cybersecurity work to meet/exceed corporate initiatives. Deliverables include, but are not limited to, architect solutions, perform PoV, develop and execute orchestration designs, creating work breakdown, project plans, project cost estimates, project recommendations, status reports and executive presentations. Drawing from her or his experience, the individual is responsible for addressing IT related security controls based on analysis of a broad set of complex operations/business requirements and considerations. The candidate is expected to be self-directed, able to multi-task and prioritize work, possess excellent problem solving skills, analytical, and have strong written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external facing communication. Working on project teams and leading projects, the Solution Design Manager in RITS Special Projects Unit is required to possess practical project management knowledge

Rapid developments in technology is unlocking new areas of opportunity in all organizations and sectors however this development is also enabling increased in security threats and attacks. Implementing adequate Cyber security systems to counter these threats requires continual development of novel and innovative cyber security techniques to counter increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. In Prudential Asia, RITS Special Projects Unit sees beyond the existing cybersecurity initiative in which security meets innovations, defenses meets autonomous, Intel meets preemptive and authentication meets continuous. RITS Special Projects plays a crucial part in designing and developing cyber security technology solutions for effective preparation, prevention, protection, response and recovery due to the rate of evolution of arms race between attackers and defenders towards many of the technologies for the market which are yet to be invented.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer engagement end-to-end throughout the initiative
  • Initiate Requirement analysis and identify pain-points within various cyber security units
  • Design and implement cyber security solution and orchestration by adhering to requirement analysis
  • Develop and deploy orchestration workflows and playbooks using state-of-the-art Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) system
  • Identify or develop connectors to integrate various technology to achieve seamless orchestration workflow via SOAR system
  • Manage orchestration lifecycle to maintain sustainability of continuous evolution for the orchestration playbook
  • Identify areas where cyber security defenses could be tuned to adopt autonomous model and accordingly develop orchestration workflows and playbooks
  • Evaluate and recommend new, disruptive, innovative technologies that require an integrated security architecture
  • Identify, experiment and deploy new security methods via Breach and Attack Simulation to gain insights of gaps that could be improved with innovative cyber security solution
  • Project Planning and Management: Define project scope, budget and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value as aligned to the scope, budget and schedule; organize and lead project status, working sessions, huddles; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; perform delivery planning for assigned projects and management of that backlog


Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, computer science, computer engineering, information technology, management information systems or equivalent
  • Structured project management experience in deploying security-related initiatives
  • Broad experience in computer and network systems, especially IT security
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and make decisions and recommendations with limited data
  • Solid analytical/problem-solving skills with capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems
  • Had experience in Security transformation programmes - design and management of security operations solutions implementations and / or remediation programmes to address risks across security operations centers including AV, patching, secure build, vulnerability scanning & remediation, logging and monitoring, segregation, threat management, user awareness
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and team working skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
