The Role Responsibilities
  • Supervisory and Team Leader role to ensure
    • accurate and timely processing of trade settlement in various markets, ensure the market settlement instructions as well as cash management between the bank and custodian are processed promptly and efficiently.
    • follow up on unmatched/unsettled trades with dealer, broker counterparties.
    • transactions are done in and in accordance with bank operational menu, desk instructions, compliance and regulatory requirements.
    • accurate update of client's securities holdings in the bank system.
    • prepare internal/external/regulatory reports.
  • Provide other administrative support for the department.
  • Handle ad hoc project as assigned.
  • Support Asian Regional booking centre and work on public holidays maybe required.
  • Cover Team Manager duties during his/her absence

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Degree holder in Banking & Finance
  • 5 years relevant working experience
  • Good command of English (spoken and written)
  • Very good product & banking knowledge.
  • Sound understanding of Settlement Procedures in both external/internal
  • Understand regulations/requirements/procedures/market practices in the Securities industry.
  • Good understanding on Operational Risks, Client Service, Private Banking Client segment is mandatory
  • Able to work under tight deadline and high pressure
  • Self-motivated individual who is an experienced problem solver. Resolution to problems often require effort to research and communicate with various parties.
  • Proven leadership skills and able to work under tight deadlines/high pressure.
  • Hours can be demanding and work on may require work on public holidays.
