Test Analyst

This position will be responsible for all aspects of testing banking products, defining acceptance tests, behavior specifications, exploratory testing scenarios and execution using various techniques and tools.

Let's Get Down to Business

This position will be responsible for all aspects of testing banking products, defining acceptance tests, behavior specifications, exploratory testing scenarios and execution using various techniques and tools. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Execute manual and automated test cases.
  • Identify, report, and track defects in software application(s).
  • Track / provide test metrics as needed by the test program (for code coverage, quality, and performance).
  • Collaborate with team members to identify test scenarios and write detailed test cases.
  • Ensure that defect tracking (identification, fixing, re-testing and migration of defects) is properly adhered to using a relevant tool, e.g. JIRA, HP-QC, BugZilla, etc.
  • Adhere to the set testing standards.
  • Coordinate and execute regression tests, automated scripts, and report testing progress.
  • Participate actively in defect triage meetings.
  • Provide inputs / relevant metrics to facilitate release sign-off.

Requirements:

  • Diploma graduate or above, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent / lower academic qualifications with substantial years of work experience.
  • At least 1-3 years of testing experience in internet banking domain, preferably knowledgeable in Credit Cards, Loans, Investment products and rewards.
  • Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Understanding and experience working in a standard SDLC (waterfall) or Agile methodology.
  • Candidate who has experience participating in Agile (Scrum) ceremonies will be a plus (i.e. Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, and Sprint Retrospectives).
  • Experience in test management tools (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, HP Quality Center, etc.)
  • Candidate who has experience in or understands automated software application testing tools (i.e. Selenium) will be an advantage.
  • Good command of spoken and written English, and spoken Chinese (preferably Chinese reading and writing).
  • Must have a passion for software testing and work effectively in a demanding collaborative environment.
