Sales Manager (Based in Klang Valley)

  •  Responsible for growing the SME portfolio through a team of Business Development Managers (BDM) by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development.
  •  Responsible for managing the sales team, soliciting, marketing loans and products to SMEs such as sole-proprietorships, partnerships, Sdn Bhds and professional bodies to achieve the set targets.
  •  Responsible for monitoring the performance of the sales team and ensure that the team actively cross-sell a full range of financial products and services and to proactively manage customer relationships and profitability.
  •  Work with the sales team to network and establish relationship with professionals and business associations in acquiring and expanding new customer base, maintaining close client relationships and providing good after-sales services.
  •  Ensure that the sales team operates in accordance with all policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  •  Participate in all marketing activities undertaken in the Business Banking umbrella from time to time and provide support to Head of EMM Distribution in achieving team targets.

Qualifications
  •  Recognized degree, higher diploma or related professional qualification with minimum 3 years' experience in leading, supervising, managing and directing a sales team. Involved in sales or sales-related capacity as Team Leader or Sales Manager with some credit background.
  •  Understand business management and team dynamics. Exhibit leadership qualities with mentoring, coaching and people management skills to effectively manage a diverse group of sales individuals.
  •  Ability to work independently, self-motivated and self-starter. Possess excellent interpersonal, intrapersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Other key attributes include enthusiasm, drive (able to work long hours when required), sense of urgency & a high achiever. Ability to speak several languages or dialects will be an added advantage.
  •  Need to be mobile and travelling is required.
