Performance Improvement - IT Advisory (Robotics) Associate / Senior Associate

The Robotics Consultant plays a key role in taking the responsibility for client facing requirements gathering to capture as-is process and map to-be process vision. The role involves identifying automation blockers and identifying automation enablers and articulating them to the client. The Consultant is also responsible for producing the process definition document (PDD), a keystroke level process map to transition process into the next stage of delivery and bringing understanding of business process / robotics to support development / testing during delivery.
Responsibilities

  • Work with the business to identify automation opportunities, by analysing new processes and assessing feasibility
  • Analysing, understanding and documenting the business processes in detail where required
  • Identifying and communicating the technical infrastructure requirements
  • Strong experience in RPA tools (any of them) - Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Open Span, or UI Path
  • Creating and maintaining RPA solution documentation
  • Developing, configuring programs, scripts and objects that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand
  • Analyse client's as-is business processes by getting the Project Definition Document (PDD) and design a RPA plan in eliminating the unnecessary / non-value activities
  • Supporting existing processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process
  • Problem solving issues that arise in day to day running of automation processes and providing timely responses and solutions as required
  • Creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios for UAT phases
  • Supporting the Client operational teams during the UAT and rollout phases

  • Working in a project environment, communicating any identified risks and issues to the project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process

Skills and Qualifications
  • 6-8 years of working experience in programming / coding / automation / analytics field(s), where 2-3 years of experience in robotics automation implementation / delivery
  • Accredited and with hands on experience in any of the RPA tools such as Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UI Path or OpenSpan
  • Good programming knowledge in MS Excel, MS Access, Visual Basic, HTML, SharePoint
  • Knowledge in Business Intelligence Tools and Client/Server scripting languages would be added advantage
  • Demonstrate good analytical and problem solving skills in process automation
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients
  • Collaborative working style to engage with the rest of the team and ensure delivery
  • Creative and Innovative thinker to propose and/or implement new process solutions
