Manager, Credit Card & Unsecured Loan Analytics

HLB is embarking on a comprehensive multi-year regional BIG DATA and Analytics transformational journey encompassing products, channels and services across the different markets. We are looking for people to lead the Unsecured Analytics Team. The Analytics team works very closely with the Product and Finance Teams and is responsible for coming up with analytics insights and solutions to grow the portfolio profitably and increase the market share. It is involved through key phases of the entire cycle from acquisition to cross-sell and servicing.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical leadership to the team to identify sales growth opportunities and develop strategies towards profitability, including a creative ability to use data to derive insights to support the business.
  • Coordinate key initiatives and manage business relationships with key business partners in Product, Credit, Operations and Finance
  • Develop segmentations across portfolios and analyze revenue, profitability, spend behavior, merchant utilization etc
  • Manage Operational Campaigns including preparation of leads, champion-challenger pilots, tracking campaign response and post mortem on campaign
  • Participate in the development and application of scorecards, pricing elasticity models, propensity models, CHAID analysis, cluster and regression statistical tools on different initiative
  • Manage the team to ensure that standard reporting and MIS requirements are performed and delivered successfully and on time by the team. Develop and provide trend reports, performance dashboards and MIS statistics to product managers and senior managers
  • Train team members as needed on analytic processes, tools and problem solving.
Integration
  • The Analytics team works very closely with the Product and Finance Teams and is responsible for coming up with analytics insights and solutions to grow the portfolio profitably and increase the market share. It is involved through key phases of the entire cycle from acquisition to cross sell and servicing
Project execution
  • To work with vendor, IT, PMO, and other stakeholders to ensure effective successful implementation of project.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Analytics and Market Research.
  • Strong quantitative skills required including academic background in mathematics, statistics, business management, economics, engineering or other similar discipline.
  • Knowledge and previous experience with statistical modeling such as decision tree tools like CHAID or Logistic Regression.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and reasoning skills to present analysis and findings in a crisp, clear and concise manner.
  • Prior experience in managing a small or medium sized team of analysts is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize work-streams effective
  • Knowledge of working with SAS, SQL or other programming languages is desirable
