Manager, Accounting & Reporting – Financial Reporting
Functional (job responsibilities)
· Prepare and ensure the finalisation of the monthly financial statements closing on a timely and accurate basis.
· Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of disclosure notes to the quarterly and yearly financial statements and the necessary Pillar 3 disclosures.
· Consolidate and upload the financials of HLB and its various subsidiaries via Oracle Hyperion Consolidation System.
· Involved in Annual Reports and newspaper publications process.
· Develop and maintain financial reporting Standard Operating Procedures, policies and guidelines and ensure proper implementation of internal control.
· Ensure compliance with applicable Financial Reporting Standards, company policies and related statutory/tax requirements.
· Active liaison with various departments (IT, Credit, Business Finance etc.) for the various source data as well as liaison with external auditors and BNM.
· Assist in various ad-hoc projects e.g. process automation and MFRS related initiatives.
· Any other responsibility that management may assign from time to time.
