Manager - Life Sciences, Strategy & Operations

We have exciting opportunity for Life Sciences Consulting professionals to join our 
Southeast Asia regional team to help drive the growth of Southeast Asia Strategy and 
Operations Life Sciences consulting practice. At Deloitte we are focused on growing 
our senior leadership team and we look to bring on-board ambitious, successful 
consultants who want to be part of our dynamic journey.

An evolving customer landscape, mounting pipeline and portfolio pressures, and 
intensifying competition are presenting new organizational and operational hurdles 
for  Life Sciences companies. We are looking for practitioners who will work alongside 
Life Sciences organizations from Big Pharma to Med Device and Bio-Tech, to drive 
business value through end-to-end delivery of solutions based on "Heart of the 
Business" strategy development. 

Ab  About the opportunity 

Deloitte's Corporate Strategy services and solutions provide actionable insights that 
enable our Life Sciences clients to formulate near- and long-term strategies to 
address the new portfolio: Generic drugs, devices from emerging market-based 
manufacturers, and other disruptive market entrants challenge traditional product-
based portfolio strategies.

  • Develop the detailed, quantitative analysis work associated with developing meaningful insights to address Life Sciences clients' biggest challenges
  • Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope
  • Develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between work streams and identify changes in scope
  • Design deliverable content to precisely reflect the engagement contract and client needs 
  • Strive to improve deliverable quality through verification and validation of results
  • Participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities

About you

  • A t least 5 years of professional experience in Life Sciences industry, proven years in Consulting environment.
  • Have had regional market knowledge in key client issues such as:
    • Market access and pricing strategies in developed and emerging markets
    • Commercial strategy including brand launch and life-cycle management, as well as sales force and multi-channel promotional strategies
    • Market entry and go-to-market strategies
    • Supply chain and operational strategies
    • Commercial due diligence on acquisition targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Preferably educated to Master's level, with experience of working in a global organization
  • Superior critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, team-building and communication skills
