The Role

  • Responsible for leading the Engineering Team in Technology for HR and Corporate Affairs and Brand & Marketing.
  • Leading the delivery of non-production environments and infrastructure
  • Working on the proactive patching of environments
  • Work on the resolution of audits and scans and ensure all application and infra vulnerabilities are fixed and latest system patches are applied as per SLA
  • Support project teams in development of system interfaces (eg. scripting, encryption, file transfer etc)
  • Implement / coordinate infrastruture solutions with internal and external platform, network, and security teams.
  • Ensure the solutions developed adhere to the bank standards and remain current with best practice
  • Perform gap analysis and health checks across the portfolio and make recommendations to address potential issues / gaps identified.
  • Collaborare with the Technology for HR, CABM Leadership Team (CIO, Lead Business Analyst, Lead Developer, Lead Tester, PMO, Lead Architect), Group Information Security, Technology Services, and Group Architects to implement effective and innovative technology solutions for both our current state and future state.
  • Heading the engineering forum for HR and CABM - review together with subject matter experts to ensure all technical designs for new projects are according to ITO & group standards and right tools are being used for project involved. Ensure any new approach/methods/tools used in project has no impact or cause degradation to product systems. In addition, no non-compliance to any SCB group policies.
  • Member of the Technology for HR, CABM Leadership Team.
  • Reporting to the Head of Technology for HR, Corporate Affairs and Brand & Marketing.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
  • 7 years experience in Technology (design, architecture, engineering, development)
  • API management
  • Experience on HR Technology and data architecture is a plus (SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, Taleo, ServiceNow)
  • Good understanding of IT security standards
  • Effective interpersonal, communication skills to articulate at different levels of organisation hierarchy
  • Strong relationship management experience with influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Creative mind - be able to suggest ideas and drive innovation
  • Able to understand the big picture and the details
  • Strong organisational, time management and administration skills
