Citi is looking for penultimate year students to join the Global Consumer Bank (GCB) Summer Analyst Program. GCB operates four business lines: Branded Cards; Retail Services; Retail Banking and Commercial Banking. Nearly half of GCB's revenue is created outside of North America and growth efforts are strategically focused on the top 100 U.S. cities as well as emerging markets and where our target client segments are thriving. The program aimed at selecting the best students to build a pipeline of candidates for our full time global Consumer Bank Program. It is an opportunity for you to experience Citi; you will be part of a structured 9 weeks to 10 weeks internship program to gain deep expertise.

We provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed. We're committed to teaching you the ropes. The summer program trains and cultivates key pipeline for our full time program, interns will be experiencing structured classroom training and assigned a MA buddy. The summer program normally starts with training that will provide essential skills knowledge as well as a comprehensive orientation to Citi's culture. After initial training; participants will be attached to a business area to gain a comprehensive understanding of Citi.

Your time here will look something like this
  • Rapidly assimilate to the home business and come up the knowledge curve
  • Engage effectively with Managers and partners to ensure the highest standards in meeting internship deliverables
  • Participate in Professional Development sessions; including lunch talks with managers; soft and technical skills training; etc.
  • Collaborate and network with fellow summer interns to provide real business solutions; culminating in a presentation to business managers


We want to hear from you if:
  • A Malaysian citizen.
  • You are in your penultimate or final year of university; studying any discipline at a top academic institution; on track to graduate with a minimum of 2nd Upper Class Honours or CGPA 3.0/4.0 or equivalent 
  • You have demonstrated strong leadership; teamwork; and communication skills             
  • You have a keen interest in the global banking landscape and place a high priority on client-centricity
