Job Description & Summary
A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You'll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.


The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager is responsible for reporting the financial performance of the company, focusing on liquidity, profitability and ensuring accuracy and consistency of management reports including statutory submission.
  • Develop, implement and maintain an effective planning and analysis capability for the business unit that will provide senior leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance of the business unit
  • Routinely communicate financial and operational performance trends, historical and forecasted, using appropriate metrics
  • Ensure timely and complete monthly and quarterly management reporting, at sub-location and legal entity level as required for management purposes, including profitability analysis per service line
  • Analyse the financial performance and outlook with senior management and suggest trends, resulting implications, key actions, and strategic implications
  • Mange the budgeting and forecasting exercises for the business unit as required for the management purposes and legal entity

  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to operate at both a strategic and tactical level in a highly complex environment
  • Exposure to financial analysis and management reporting within a complex, detail-focused environment
  • Required Competencies such as Process Management, Dealing with Ambiguity, Decision Quality and Business Acumen
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience with at least three years experience of financial planning & analysis responsibility or equivalent
  • Experience in a fast pace, ideally within the professional services industry
  • Exposure to dealing operational management teams
  • Tertiary qualifications combined with work experience and exposure to all accounting disciplines
  • Accounting qualifications is preferred
