Retail Banking and Wealth Management leverages HSBC's global retail banking expertise and wealth management capabilities to deliver a broad range of world-class retail banking solutions to millions of customers. Driving for growth in key markets around the world, the business comprises areas such as retail banking, wealth management, insurance and asset management, with a focus on customer-centric propositions and innovative and efficient distribution channels that will differentiate our customer experience and deliver market leading retail banking and wealth management solutions.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Contract Executive.

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Support the Head of Deposit in the execution of various underlying programmes components across the Asia Pacific RBWM region. Components include Data Readiness, Customer Due Diligence, Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions Policy roll out/embedding and other DPA/Monitor plan requirements etc.
  • The job holder may also need to support the Common Reporting Standard/Dodd Frank/Volcker programme implementation.
  • The job holder will have to work with multiple entities and stakeholders across the organization (global interaction) to deliver on this critical/strategic programme.
  • Successful and sustainable implementation of the Global Standards project across Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM).
  • Responsible for instilling project disciplines, including controlling execution, and change control.
  • Responsible for relationship/project managing a number of Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM) projects.
  • The role holder will ensure stakeholders are informed and their views are considered at all stages of execution.
  • Primary stakeholders will include: Financial Crime Compliance, RBWM, HOST and the various project steering committees and working groups.
  • Will also work closely with various parties from Group, Regional and local teams including BRCM.
  • Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.
  • Individuals are responsible for their own effectiveness, development and results. Specialist or Subject Matter Experts, where matrix management and understanding of Group strategy is expected. Their contribution is often as a technical/professional specialist in their field.
  • Support achievement of the HSBC vision, Values, goals and culture in personal behaviour, actions and decision making.

  • Adhere to HSBC policy, procedures and control requirements applicable to day-to-day working, exceptional and project activities, and raise any concerns about actual or potential issues promptly, in line with reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Continuously monitor and gather information to assess potential impacts and identify possible risks and opportunities for the business.
  • Apply policies, procedures, practices and standards to their allocated tasks, taking responsibility for their own actions, to ensure the achievement of high levels of quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance.


Qualifications
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year service in HSBC.
  • Preferred experience and knowledge on accounts opening, compliance, Know Your Customer and Anti Money Laundering
  • Knowledge and experience in rolling out and participated in projects is preferred.
  • Self-starter, well organized and able to work independently.
  • Meticulous and demonstrate attention to details and sense of urgency to meet required timeline.
  • Able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines and be change oriented
  • Excellent written communication skills - ability to clearly document the current state and the recommendations
  • Ability to build connections and work collaboratively across the Group.
