Description

The Cards Portfolio Management & Lending Head is responsible for managing overall Cards & Loans Portfolio (Existing Customer) related actions so as to maximize cards revenue stream with the right balance of risk/reward quotient.
These actions include (but not limited to):
  • Driving Profitable Installment Lending through portfolio segmentation & pricing tests, customer targeting, competitor benchmarking, incentive mg.t and credit tests within Cards & Lending Products
  • Driving core balance growth & Installment ANR growth through the product & pricing segmentation of balance growth products, APR pricing tests, Product Upgrades/Conversions (with Product managers), credit tests for Total Cards & Consumer Lending products
  • Responsible for driving fee/commission strategy working with our customer contact channels; This also includes managing appropriate retention strategy with Citi phones and CRU
  • Credit line management and customer life cycle management related actions
  • Formulate and drive going-forward digitalization strategy
  • Driving monthly/ quarterly analytics & testing to deliver an annual installment sales volume
  • Strategize and execute plans for maximizing frontloading & cross sell of portfolio cards & lending products & apply balance growth initiatives e.g.: Minimum Due Review, payment hierarchy, core APR pricing tests to attract profitable segments into the portfolio
  • Optimize and execute credit tests, pricing test & pricing decisions to identify opportunities to increase response rates for Total Cards and Consumer Lending products
  • Work with internal departments e.g. risk management, decision management, finance and sales to ensure marketing programs & test programs are properly executed in a timely manner with the approved strategies, policies, and marketing budgets
  • Define, propose and agree with Risk and Product Management on credit proposals/tests
  • Define and execute all related credit line management activities for Credit Cards, Ready Credit and UPL to maximize risks/returns equation for the bank
  • Provide clear direction and communication to the advertising agency in devising, producing and the execution of advertising work
  • Define and execute fee strategy (red zone, etc.)
  • Define and execute Ready Credit and Personal Loans end to end related activities for business growth
  • Ensure compliance in all internal and external dealings with customers, partners and regulators


Qualifications

  • University graduate with at least 10 years of banking experience; preferable 6-7 years of relevant Cards experience
  • Indepth understanding of credit philosophy in Cards & Unsecured Lending
  • Solid understanding of digital payment eco-system
  • Attention to details and strong mind for processes and process re-engineering
  • Experience in risk & data management would be an advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills and experienced with managing relationships
  • Strong marketing and analytical skills
  • Strong organization and execution skill
  • Detailed and meticulous
  • Committed with the desire to achieve goals and targets
