Function background/Context:

Strategize and craft end-to-end customer journey for Citi customers to grow retail sales and capture market share

J ob Purpose:

  • Develop usage-led communication strategies to deliver growth on retail sales for credit cards
  • Work with various key stakeholders - product, portfolio & CWP to develop consolidated communication plan for the business
  • Conduct data driven analysis to identify areas of growth opportunities - latest trend in the market that will attract customers/ provide value add to the product
  • Perform periodic competitor analysis to ensure Citi cards always remain as top of mind
Key Responsibilities:

  • L ead planning and developing of comprehensive marketing calendar for cards usage initiatives
  • Propose & lead a full year usage strategy blueprint to capture and grow retail spend
  • Actively engage with various key stakeholders to explore new ideas and initiatives to capture consumer spend across different merchant categories, online space, and domestic/foreign spend
  • Key Business Lead and driver to represent Malaysia in major regional projects aiming at delivering synergies & optimal results across multiple markets - i.e. Merchant Recommendation Engine module
  • Study internal (customer behaviour, demographics etc) and external (economy and market) data to implement effective communication channels with most relevant offers to ensure an engaging customer journey
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution and approvals
  • Work with external stakeholders i.e. agencies to ensure successful launch of marketing programs
  • Manage and optimize annual marketing expenses to ensure a sustainable R/E
  • Track, review, and propose improvements on campaign performance
  • Understand and consistently monitor the competitive landscape


Qualifications and Competencies:

  • 2 years of working experience in related areas or industry
  • Bachelor's degree holder or higher
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and presentation skills
  • Critical and creative thinker
  • Proactive, independent and results-oriented
