Description

Summary:
  • Business Development: Proactively identify and target new business opportunities with existing and prospect clients as per relationship plans developed for the accounts.
  • Account Management: Be accountable for business retention by closely monitoring business flows in client portfolio and overall client satisfaction with bank's products and services
  • Deal Management: Own end-to-end process around a deal involving identification of opportunity, deal review & approvals, client proposal/RFP response, client pitch/presentation, client mandate and successful implementation of deals.
Business Development:
  • Develop and review relationship plans with RMs for clients assigned.
  • Own and manage product sales pipeline tracking and achieve portfolio revenue and deal wins targets.
  • Call on clients to identify new opportunities and advise clients on best practices.
  • Stay updated on market and competition and provide regular inputs to relationship and product teams.
  • Originate both domestic and cross-border deals and work with relevant partners for cross-border deals.
  • Work with product team in creating marketing collateral & standard client pitch books.
  • Foster sales expertise & facilitate sharing of knowledge and best practices.
Account Management:
  • Monitor operating cash and trade flows for clients in the portfolio to identify any client attrition and take prompt action as required.
  • Identify clients at risk due to poor client experience or competitive threats and take prompt action to avoid loss.
Deal Management:
  • Write sales proposals and respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals).
  • Making client pitches/presentations.
  • Own the deal review process including taking necessary approvals from Product, Risk, Operations & Technology, Compliance, Legal, etc.
  • Work closely with Implementation team to ensure successful implementation of mandated deals and revenue ramp-up.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Cash Management and/or Trade
  • Bachelor's Degree required and Master's Degree desirable
