Description

  • Schedule and administer new hire mandatory trainings which includes but not limited to trainings on Business Overview, Investment & Bancassurance Products, Compliance-related, Service/Process-related, Eclipse, RDIP trainings, etc.
  • Manage and monitor new hires' and existing staff's progress on completion of mandatory trainings within the set timeline as per in-country and regional role-based curriculum requirements.
  • Handle the post-training activities such as training attendance and online Post-Training Evaluation, etc.
  • Manage logistic arrangement such as venue, training materials, equipment, training expenses approval, catering, etc. for all mandatory trainings.
  • Schedule and register new hires for regional certification and recertification examinations which include invigilating on day of exam.
  • Be the first contact point of all Retail Bank new hires so that they could assimilate well into the bank culture at the shortest time possible.
  • Prepare and submit training, certification, recertification and regulatory reports within the set timeline.
  • Update the yearly Local Operating Procedure ensuring it is current.
  • Perform any other tasks that may be assigned by the Management from time to time.


Qualifications

  • Tertiary education (Business Administration, Human Resource or related discipline).
  • Preferably 4-5 years working experience in financial institution, regulatory, investment, insurance and/or fund management, with training administration, co-ordination and/or compliance background preferred.
  • Excellent in communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to speak in a clear and articulate manner, present effective presentations, reason logically; and produce effective and clear written material.
  • Guide, motivate, coach and assist staff, especially new hires within Retail Bank Department with regard to certification & licensing matters.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and able to work under pressure.
  • Quick on feet, good organizational, co-ordination and people management skills.
  • Commitment to teamwork, quality and integrity.
  • Attention to details is key.
