Business IT Project Manager
  1. Provide project leadership, management & oversight of all IT projects within GCBM involving business consultation, estimation, planning & management of the technical team to deliver successful solutions
  2. Assemble project team, assign individual responsibilities, identify & manage appropriate resources needed, develop & manage schedule to ensure timely execution of project(s)
  3. Analyse, design, implement modifications and/or enhance existing and/or new application tools and software in order to achieve the following objectives:
    • automate existing manual business processes (including data extraction) to improve turnaround time of management and regulatory reporting;
    • explore opportunities to improve quality and integrity of data, improve turnaround time of loan operational processes and productivity enhancement of the client managers
    • development of data analytics methods for improve client relationships and better prediction of early warning signals
  4. Seek to understand process workflows for business units to ensure that new system developed and/or existing system enhanced, is aligned to business needs, taking into consideration the establishment of branches/offices in several regional locations.
  5. Key liaison personnel with Group Technology & Operations, respective business units and vendors to enable establishment of proper communication channels for IT projects led by GCBM and to manage any internal & external risks to the project


Qualifications


  1. 6 - 8 years' experience in managing Corporate Banking related projects (preferably corporate loan management and SIBS core banking systems)
  2. Bachelor's Degree in the relevant discipline (including Information Systems, Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science)
  3. Experience in computer database management, programming / software and/or data analytics would be an added advantage
  4. Certified Project Management Professional ("PMP") or its equivalent would be an added advantage
  5. A strong appreciation of key business drivers & an understanding of the IT impact upon the Corporate Banking business
  6. Strong problem solving, negotiation, financial planning and effective project management skills are required
