Job Description

The Role:

Regular Reporting
  • To support the Operations Planning Manager in ensuring timely and accurate submission of regular reporting to the senior management and regulations
  • To assist in ensuring the standardization of KPI and its tracking mechanism

    Tracking of Operations Initiatives
  • To support the Operation Planning Manager in ensuring timely and accurate tracking of Operation initiatives including strategic and process improvement projects
  • To ensure an up-to-date dashboard for all Operation initiatives to the management

    Project Support For Initiatives / Process Improvement
  • To participate in Operation Initiatives / process improvement projects as Project Resource using Lean Six Sigma DMAIC, DMADV, Kaizen or any proven methodology
  • To assist the project manager in consolidation of project documentation, data analysis and other project initiatives

    Other Operation Planning Activities
  • To support the COO Office for Agency related events, Operations Away Day for Head of Department, Board of Directors Orientation and Corporate Orientation Programme
  • To support yearly budget exercise for Operations
  • To support other departmental activities where required

    Job Requirements
    The Person:
    • Possess tertiary education in Statistics, Computer Science, IT, Business Administrative or any related field
    • Preferably to have professional qualifications i.e. AMII/ACII, FLMI, Six Sigma either trained or certified Green Belt/Black Belt
    • Extensive experience in insurance related matters.
    • Preferably 2-4 years working experience in the Life Insurance Industry
    • Experience in reporting & data analytics
    • Experience in business process improvements
    • Independent & strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to communicate at all levels
    • Ability to produce high quality work under pressure
    • Life and/or Group Insurance knowledge
    • Lean Six Sigma or equivalent methodology
