Assistant Manager, HR-PMO

  • Undertakes ad-hoc Project Management duties under the supervision of a Programme or Project Manager.

  • Contributes to the production of programme/project documentation such as Business Cases, reports, dashboards and etc.

  • Ensure the agreed project management methods, standards and processes are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Helps to track and follow-up on project deliverables

  • Main support to technology related initiatives to digitalise/improve the processes within the scope of Organisation Design, Workforce Planning & HR-PMO and Maintain risk and issue logs and change control records.

  • Provide administration support including:

      • ensuring meeting invitation and agendas are circulated

      • recording of meeting decisions, and progress reviews actions.

      • ensuring progress on actions arising from meetings

      • actively contribute into improving project administration

      • co-ordinate the production of all reports and produce project summary reports.

  • Develop presentational information and management updates on behalf of Organisation Design, Workforce Planning & HR-PMO

  • Maintain a repository of 'best practice' and good examples of project documentation for use in knowledge sharing activities

  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, CIMB policies & procedures, guidelines and the Department's policies and procedures regionally

  • Works closely with team members within Organisation Design, Workforce Planning & HR-PMO and to actively participate in task/projects assigned.

  • To perform any other responsibilities / task as assigned by the management from time to time.

Technical/Functional skills
  • Ability to contribute in discussion and and put forth argument on people-related matters
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to conceptualise ideas and/or plans on paper by assisting in preparation of management papers / presentations
  • Have adequate project management skills to ensure effective implementation of initiatives
Personal skills (Soft Competencies [Core/Leadership])
  • Presentation skills to put forth arguments, recommendations and solutions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build working relationships with all levels of internal and external stakeholders across the Group and geographies
Office Tools Suite
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
