Assistant Manager, Customer Channel Engagement and Financial Analytics
JOB SUMMARY

HLB is embarking on a comprehensive multi-year regional BIG DATA and Analytics transformational
journey encompassing products, channels and services across the different markets. We are looking for candidate to join Customer Channel Engagement and Financial Analytics team.

The Analytics team is responsible for coming up with analytics insights and solutions to grow the portfolio profitably and increase the market share. It is involved through key phases of the entire cycle from acquisition to cross-sell and retention. The candidate will also be heavily involved in Hong Leong's omni-channel strategies aspiration in order to provide superior customer journey.



Functional (job responsibilities)

  • Responsible in Campaign execution which include the creation and upload of acquisition, cross-selling and retention projects on batch or real-time basis; and tracking of results
  • Support MIS reporting by perform data extraction and provide analytics driven decision to management
  • To ensure that the creation of these analytics deliverables is within the accepted service level agreements of accuracy and turnaround times
  • To work closely with their peers in the department on analytic, campaign and reporting requirements to meet the Bank's strategic and tactical KPIs.
  • To maintain, review and improve upon the data marts and extraction scripts to create production efficiencies and eliminate redundancies
  • Participate in developing insights and strategies for omni-channel where customer execute "channel stitching" between digital, branches and self-service terminals
  • Also to assist in data warehouse related matters such as table creation testing, trouble-shooting, user acceptance testing
  • Support analytics task which includes complex and ad-hoc extractions for management decisions, creating propensity models, perform back-testing of historical data, customer segmentation models that are both static and dynamic behavioral models based on transactional and other data


Education/Qualification

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Actuarial studies, Banking/Finance/Economics, Business, Marketing, Mathematics/Statistics or related disciplines
  • Proficient in SAS Programming, Enterprise Guide, SQL and MS Excel, Data warehouse and enterprise BI solutions such as Tableau
  • Strong coding and analytical skills, highly numerate and proactive
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill


Experience

  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Exposure to project management and operation set-up
  • Have performed reporting function in the capacity of creator / designer and/or execution
  • Marketing or Sales Campaign design, creation and reporting


Special Skills

Coding skills in SAS or SQL; or in other BI and statistical programs
