Application Analyst (ITSR)

  • Manage EDW related IT Service Request (ITSR) i.e. perform evaluation and implement delivery timely
  • Analyse business requirement, perform assessment and provide solution for development / implementation of enhancement
  • Conduct data mapping and work with Source team and ETL resources to perform impact analysis
  • Manage ETL resources to design and implement process and logic to extract, transform and load data from multiple data source to deliver the enhancement
  • Manage user expectation for the ITSR raised, perform SIT, support UAT
  • Ensure budgets are adhered to and delivery deadlines met
  • Ensure compliance to internal processes
  • Perform coding and unit testing for application development / fix defect if required
  • Perform data analysis on the EDW to understand potential data issues and quality concerns


Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in IT with minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in the IT application support / development field
  • Technically competent in Teradata- Minimum of 2 years of Teradata SQL knowledge
  • Technically competent in Teradata - Minimum of 2 years FSLDM data model knowledge
  • Equipped with Knowledge i.e. Payment, Remittance, GIRO, Deposit, Loans or CIF will be an advantage
  • Familiar with EDW concept, data analysis, mining, data modeling, data integration and ETL processes
  • Basic knowledge on Malaysia Regulatory reporting knowledge - CCRIS, ITEPS, NSRS
  • Strong technical, analytical, communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail follow SDLC process
  • Possess initiative, drive, and ability to work well independently and in a team are essential attributes
  • Able to work outside normal office hours to support urgent enhancement delivery / critical production issues
  • Good understanding of SDLC, Information Security, Technical Architecture, IT and Procurement & Vendor Management policies and guidelines will be an added advantage
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment that requires the ability to multi-task and implement high priority initiatives
  • Skilled at project management, with the ability to operate and prioritize work streams across multiple stakeholders and departments in different geographies
