AVP, Operational Risk Management and Compliance
  • Alternate Operational Risk Partner(ORP) to handle all the related Operational risk matters for the CFS division.

  • Responsible for the following risk reporting, and to ensure the risk measurement and reporting are of relevant and qualitative information:

    • Risk Dashboard to CFS MY Management Team and Group CFS R&P

    • Performance Metrics at Division & Branches level to ORM

    • BNM reporting (i.e. StatSmart)

    • Fair Dealing reporting

  • Collaborate with department Risk Champions and relevant stakeholders to review and develop / improve Performance Metrics.

  • Conduct and manage trainings, including review and revamp training materials related to Risk and Compliance

  • Oversees the call back activities:

  • Periodic review on the escalation of negative hits emails on call backs performed and assess and provide advice on queries by stakeholders. For hits with potential scenario of mis-selling, to verify and escalate for further action

  • Monthly sampling check on call backs performed by the call back agents

  • Work with relevant parties to review and revise call scripts and other relevant documentation (where necessary)

  • Division and department BCM coordinator


Qualifications
  • We are looking for candidates who are;
  • Education to at least degree level or equivalent education or experience.

  • At least 7 years working experiences and knowledgeable in CFS products, services, process and its applicable Regulations and Act.

  • Experience in Operational Risk and Control matters in relating to CFS products and services.
  • Experience with regulatory environment for Banks.

  • Thorough record-keeping abilities, timeliness and attention to details.

  • Strong engagement skills, confident and ability to deal with potentially contentious issues effectively.

  • Ability to build effective internal and external stakeholder relationships including demonstrated networking and negotiation skills and ability to manage working groups.

  • Pleasant personality with good working attitude, able to work independently and has sense of urgency and able to work within tight deadlines and able to multi-task independently with confidence.
