Scope of Role-

Technology Refresh is responsible for addressing End of Support (EoS) / obsolescence risk across all asset classes and geographies through the application of an effective risk-based governance approach. The scope covers Applications (Verticals) and Infrastructure Products (Horizontals) across all geographies.

Key Responsibilities-


    Ensure effective delivery against target set in departmental performance scorecards
SPOCs: for the respective portfolios:
    Drive End of Support (EOS) Risk / KRI assessments to ensure an overall view of obsolescence risk Track obsolescence initiatives and current / required spend Ensure there is visibility of obsolescence risk and funding at the relevant Committees (e.g. PGCs, FORCs & CORCs)
    Drive and track the Technology Refresh process through its various steps with the respective internal SPOCs Provide metrics and scorecards to relevant governance committees and internal stakeholder communitie Facilitate / administer effective governance committees to provide management visibility and oversight Manage all Operational Risk, Internal Audit and Regulatory aspects, including ability to demonstrate compliance,
Continuous Improvement:
    Define the overall bank-wide Technology Refresh governance framework and ensure its effective implementation Champion and continuously improves the process and control environment.

Skills and Knowledge
  • 5+ years of experience in any financial sector within technology
  • Knowledge and experience of technology asset management
  • Understanding of Bank's Technology environment
  • Self-starter / motivated / deals effectively with ambiguity
  • Possess stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, facilitation, efficient decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Sound working knowledge of risk management
  • Strong analytical skills with close attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate messaging (both verbal and through documentation) behind the metrics and data
  • Ability to identify improvement opportunities, realistically scope and drive as improvement programme holistically
