2018 Young Banker’s Programme – Human Resources

Our HUMAN RESOURCES DIVISION provide advice and solutions for all People issues in the Bank, while supporting the execution of various business strategies.

We specialise in attracting, developing, engaging and retaining our People, especially exceptional talent and high-potentials.

Our role in HR is essential even at the strategy formulation stage so as to ensure that proper people resources with the right skill sets, attitude and qualities are in place or at least could be put in place prior to the implementation.

The Centres of Excellence, such as Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits and Learning & Development enable HR to be agile and proactive in innovating progressive and innovative people programmes and services to attract, engage, develop and retain the right talent in the Bank.

At Human Resources, we manage:

  • Resourcing and hiring of talents
  • Staff compensation and benefits
  • Performance management
  • Learning and development
  • Talent management and succession planning

Here, the team in Human Resources is also responsible for identifying young and outstanding students to be awarded with our OCBC Public Scholarship, as we hope to provide financial assistance in helping bright and promising youths achieve their ambitions through quality education in a local Malaysian university.

  • You are a Graduate with Honours Degree and final CGPA of 3.0 and above in any discipline
