Job Summary:

Reporting to the Manager - Liquidity Solutions, this position is responsible to provide SME ability/support relating to SAP BCM, SWIFT and Bank Account Management as well as responsible for the various cash flow forecasting across the AIA Group.

Responsible for bank account management process (i.e. opening, maintenance and closing of bank accounts) including banking portal management. The key objective is to prepare and maintain accurate and up to date bank accounts information and banking signatory.

Collaborate with different stakeholders (Banks, SAPCOE technical team, Group Treasury, Group Human Resources, Group Legal, Group Tax and Company Secretary) to support the bank account management middle-and-back office activities (including the UAT).

Responsible to produce the cash forecast for Local Business Units (LBUs) across AIA Group using the SAP Cash Management (SAP CM) system to perform the cash forecast. The key objective is production of a consistent, high quality cash forecast to be used by the AIA entities to minimize cash-on-hand.

Support as a Subject Matter Expert ("SME") for any and all matters related to SAP Bank Communication Manager (BCM) setup and SWIFT.

Perform additional Treasury tasks as required (payment initiation, reporting, etc.) and other tasks as assigned by the manager from time to time.

Identify and initiate process improvements to the SAP CM and cash forecast process. The incumbent will be considered the key business user of the SAP CM and is expected to operationalize SAP CM and overall process to achieve greater effectiveness and efficiency is the cash forecast.

Collaborate with different teams in the LBU (Operations, A/P, Actuarial and Investments) to understand the various sources of cash flows within the LBU and ensure the cash forecast accurately capture these flows. The key objective is to produce an accurate, consistent forecast to enable the LBU to minimize cash-on-hand.

Track actual cashflows against forecasted cashflows to understand sources of variability of the cash forecast with the intention to improve the quality and consistency of the cash forecast.

Responsible to prepare process documentation. (BPM, Training Materials & etc)

Job Requirements:
  • University Degree is required (Finance/ Accounting is an asset)
  • 4-5 years of experience in finance (Financial Services experience is an asset)
  • Experience in Bank Account Management, Bank Connectivity and SWIFT is an asset
  • Experience in a corporate Treasury department or in cash forecasting is an asset
  • Experience on Process Documentation is an asset
  • Working level knowledge of SAP is required (FAM and CM knowledge is an asset)
  • Proactive and demonstrated desire to actively seek out system and process improvement, and challenge the status quo
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, experience with standard office software
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines is required
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy is essential
  • The candidate will be expected to communicate with LBUs across the Asia-Pacific area and therefore excellent English communication skills are required
  • Normal working hours, shift hours and working on Malaysia public holidays will be required
