Trainee - Application Software Engineer - (M/F)

Banque Internationale à Luxembourg is the oldest bank in Luxembourg. Founded in 1856, BIL is a key player in the Retail Banking, Private Banking, Corporate Banking and Treasury and Financial Markets. These businesses are backed up by strong Support functions and by our Operational departments.

BIL has set an ambitious program of business development to the year 2020, combined with the development of a new OPS&IT strategy including the replacement of its Core Banking System.

Trainee - Application Software Engineer - (M/F)
 
Your mission
- Prove him/herself a good team player and respect the procedures and processes in use within the bank
- Manage the full life cycle of an IT development project:
- Requirements gathering and understanding thereof
- Detailed functional and technical analysis
- Development of the application (an evolutionary module - expansion of the scope easy to integrate)
- Management of the unit tests
- Deployment of the application
- Drafting of a detailed documentation (functional and technical) to ensure the future maintenance
- Integration of developments in our SI
- Development of an evolutionary module (expansion of the scope easy to integrate)
- Apply the technologies used in IT (Java, Spring, AngularJS
- Establishment of a management console (research of documents, metrics, etc ...) to manage the digital signature system and the life cycle of documents during the signing process.
- Implements some improvements on the existing user interface (based on business requirements)
- Test of different web based integrations (applet and/or web driver)
- Test of different integrations for using the possibilities of the existing system and extend it to other types of signature (iOS / Android, SMS, etc ...).

Profile:
Qualifications
 
- Student, final year of IT-oriented (Min BAC+2 up to BAC+4/5)
- You are fluent in written and spoken English and French. You are able to participate actively in English and French meetings.
