RiverBank is recruiting an ambitious Risk Analyst for its Luxembourg office. RiverBank’s Risk Department covers the management and monitoring of the Bank’s risk processes (credit, market, liquidity, operational) as well as risk analyses, stress testing regimes, the Bank’s ICLAAP and Recovery Plan and other strategic projects. It also monitors on an ongoing basis the regulatory requirements where relevant to the Bank’s business model and activities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Produce, review and analyse the portfolio, credit, market and liquidity reports
  • Support the preparation of regulatory reports (ESMA/AnaCredit/ad hoc)
  • Assist in the specification and development of digital and data driven risk processes
  • Perform testing on new software developments and integration into the Bank’s infrastructure
  • Assist in integration of new products and/or regulatory requirements into the Bank’s day-to-day operations
  • Support strategic initiatives and projects as the Bank accelerates its strong growth
  • Bring fresh ideas on topics generally including data retrieval, risk procedures and risk analytics
  • Support the Risk Department on general risk and information security risk topics
  • Work closely across departments to ensure processes and risk mitigations work to specifications and tolerance levels

Skills and Competencies

  • At least 6 years’ of experience in Risk Management within a banking environment
  • Significant generalist risk knowledge, incl. experience with risk-related regulations (CRR, EBA, Anacredit)
  • Solid knowledge of financial and banking instruments, where experience in digital lending would be advantageous
  • Effective judgment and good communication skills to highlight any identified risks in a timely manner
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and data analysis skills
  • Experience of day-to-day business operational procedures in regulated environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to multitask in a fast changing environment
  • Master/Bachelor in Finance, Banking, Risk Management, Applied Science or equivalent degree
  • Fluency in English required
