Real Estate Portfolio Analyst (m/f)


Our client is implementing a Property Management Software/Financial Reporting Software (PMS/FRS) solution in order to increase efficiency, reduce internal operational costs and enhance operational scalability. The software will combine both Property Management information and Corporate Accounting. It will be used across Europe by our group including Account Managers, Property Managers, and other stakeholders in order to access information specific to their needs.
Our client is looking to reinforce the Corporate Reporting team with a person who has some experience in Real Estate Portfolio Analysis.

Objectives of Role
Assist the Property Management budgeting and forecasting processes and support Corporate Controlling team and management with periodical variance analysis

Responsibilities: (including but are not limited to)

  • Prepare and configure the system for the periodical budgeting and forecasting process
  • Support the budgeting processes providing general assumption, business information and market analysis
  • Assist with improving and implementing internal processes relating to the system
  • Assist the harmonization and standardization of budgeting and forecasting process over Company pan European portfolio
  • Work with Service Providers throughout Europe to prepare annual Property Management budget
  • Support the Local Service providers during the annual Property Management budget upload and the periodical forecasting process
  • Assist with the creation of data import files
  • Assist the Service Providers with data validation once implemented on the system
  • Perform data quality analysis and check to ensure that uploaded data are consistent with lease information, management decision, contracts details and general assumptions.
  • Analyse periodical budget variances and review Asset Financial data and metrics for periodic reporting
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and analyses as needed in decision making or to advise Account Manager, Asset Manager and Senior Management
  • Oversee periodic monitoring of budget variances by regular meetings and communication with Local Providers and Senior Management
  • Provide statistical information as required
  • Analyze and document budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Provide training to staff on use of budget/forecast software
  • Assist during implementation phase of software deployment
  • Assist with improving and implementing internal processes relating to the system


  • 3 to 4 years of portfolio analysis or business controlling experience in a real estate - property management environment
  • Good knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Good Controlling and Reporting skill
  • Excellent communication skills
