FundPartner Solutions provides a full suite of fund administration and private label funds services. The global team of industry experts specialises in fund domiciliation, registration and governance, as well as risk compliance and investment management services.

 

As a Private Equity Investment Services Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing the investment operations (acquisition, engagement, transfer, etc.) for private equity and real estate funds (PERE), ensuring that deadlines are adhered to. You will coordinate and follow up on audits and ensure that the supporting documents are made available. You will be the dedicated contact person for the fund managers. As such, you will work with the custody bank team.

 

Your role

 

• Checking and analysing PERE-type investments.
• Monitoring the cash flows and document flows for these investments.
• Reviewing the periodic valuation of the investments and understanding the implications.
• Deciding on and implementing a multi-jurisdictional operational framework.
• Ensuring compliance with tax rules and implementing client guarantees.
• Recording and checking investments made.
• Monitoring the holding chain of these investments.
• Providing regular reporting for the custody bank team.
• Coordinating audit requests relating to investments and providing the necessary documents.
• Responding to client requests and ensuring high-quality contact with the managers.
• Involvement in numerous development projects carried out by the department.
• Managing the onboarding of new funds.
   

Your profile

 

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Law or Management.
• Two to three years’ experience in similar roles (FA/TA), or working in the custody/depositary business.
• Knowledge of regulations governing Luxembourg funds.
• Excellent grasp of alternative products (PERE ).
• Well organised and accurate in all aspects of the tasks assigned.
• A flexible approach so that you can adjust to and deal with unexpected situations.
• A strong team player but also able to work efficiently on your own.
• Excellent command of English and French. Any other European language would be a plus.
• Skilled user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Knowledge of eFront would be a plus.
