The role of Investment Restrictions Control - Business Change SME:
1. Plan, organise and control assigned activities within a major Business Model Transformation Programme, to implement the specified end-to-end solution for Investment Restrictions Control; to this end,
2. Support configuration and test of investment restrictions controls for UCITS and non-UCITS investment funds.

The key responsibilities of the role include:
a) Assess business requirements in line with regulatory and fund investment restrictions
b) support a change management process where priority of changes is driven by business goals.
c) Support the implementation of a new Investment Restrictions Control Platform through definition, specification, configuration and test of the platform and the controls therein
d) Build respect of stakeholders and implementation teams across in the fields of enterprise architecture, and risk and compliance
e) Development and understanding of the end-to-end data flows and dependencies around this

Knowledge & Skills
a) Extensive knowledge and understanding of investment restrictions regulatory frameworks, complex fund structures and front-to-back fund servicing processes;
b) Understanding of fund risk metrics, VAR, counterparty and global exposure across all instrument including complex derivatives;
c) Hands-on experience in implementation of tool support and business change for Investment Restrictions Controls, through to planning, execution, Target Operating Model definition and transition to BAU;
d) Demonstrable experience in visualising, directing and effectively communicating complex tasks across stakeholder teams;
e) Knowledge of agile methodology and the role of the Product Owner as contributor to this would be advantageous.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will benefit from having:
a) Strong relevant experience in investment restrictions compliance, investment management duties; experience in major change programmes impacting process and system through entire lifecycle (requirements, through to execution, through close-out)
b) Experience in implementing a market leading or bespoke Investment Restrictions platform
c) Experience in effective written and verbal communication in all levels
d) Operation in a complex organizational environment with competing priorities and interests
e) University Degree or equivalent professional certification in Financial Services discipline(s).
f) Fluent in English. French and/or German a plus.
