For our private banking activities in Luxembourg, we are currently looking to recruit a:

Head of Client Lifecycle Management Luxembourg

Role and Responsibilities:

The CLM team sits in the first line of defence (1 LoD) and evaluates the quality of the client information gathered, provided and consolidated for the client on boarding, customer due diligence (CDD), KYC, and client tax documentation and tax classification. 

Within CLM, under a single organizational structure, the goal is to provide a consistent and practical end-to-end operational support to the Front Office covering all stages of a client lifecycle from on boarding to servicing to exit management.

Reporting to the EMEA head of CLM and locally to the PBLU Chief Administrative Officer, the role holder will lead, manage and provide oversight for all Luxembourg CLM activities and will be accountable to ensure that Luxembourg CLM is compliant with all regulatory, first line of defence and Global Standards and CDD policy requirements. 

The local Head of CLM is in charge of interfacing the global and regional strategy into the country, leading managing and transforming onshore and offshore PBLU operations and teams, participating actively in the Continental Europe transformation programs and leading it for Luxembourg.

He/she will deliver a consistent global operating model for the stages of the client lifecycle that increases efficiency and connectivity across the client facing activities to support GPB growth, and enhances the client experience.

The candidate will be responsible for working closely with the other local Heads of CLM and the Central team, Country COO’s, CCO and NFR and his/her team and all 2nd LoD functions.

Professional Skills and Experience

  • At least 10 years of experience of banking knowledge, ideally with experience in wealth management
  • Proven leadership skills to successfully lead the CLM team transformation in Luxembourg 
  • Proven ability to authentically engage with team, colleagues and business partners to deliver at pace
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for Client On-Boarding and On-going Client Lifecycle management
  • Exposure to gaining senior buy-in across business and product
  • Possess a flexible mindset that fits in with the fluidity of a country/regional/global teams
  • Ability to elicit requirement from the business in an accurate and timely manner
  • Responsible for encouraging best practice and knowledge within the country
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to challenge information presented
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Fluent English essential, knowledge of French or other European languages would be a definite advantage.
