Business Analyst Luxembourg

Purpose:

Participate in the activities and deliver objectives linked to following Streams:

Oversight – Monitor operational activities performed in Transaction Mangement and GFP operational hub based in Kuala Lumpur

Control – Perform controls on critical TM and GFP related activities to ensure client and Company risks are under control

Readiness – Deliver TM  and GFP expertise in Global Custody related projects or initiative to ensure operational readiness to our clients

 

What will you do?

 

Primary Responsibilities

Actively participate in following streams within Excellence Center, and support the Stream Lead in delivering assigned objectives:

Oversight:

•     Create and maintain SLA’s and procedures  with KL covering Trade Capture,  Market Settlement, Bank Loan, Global Fund Platform and Securities Lending activities for Luxembourg domiciled clients  and organize yearly updates and service reviews

•     Evaluate KL service quality, prepare dashboard for the management and run monthly meetings.

•     Analyze performance and quality indicators on smart–sourced custody activities for Lux domiciled clients, including benchmarking and improvement initiatives

Control:

•     Produce daily / weekly / monthly reports on selected controls on TM related activities :

o     Areas covered: Market Settlement, Securities Lending, Bank Loans Administration, Client Transitions, Global Fund Platform.

o     List of main controls: failed trades, reconciliation breaks, UCITS V, Overdrafts, Emir controls, Asset Safekeeping, Securities Lending, Dormant Accounts, Bank Loans, GFP.  

 

Readiness:

•     Deliver approved  Transaction Management and  GFP projects on an ad-hoc basis

•     Create operational procedures to be applied in KL TM and GFP processing center.

•     Review client requests for new / enhanced services and design new operational process to meet customer expectations. Validate process with KL and agree on implementation steps.

 

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  •       6-8 years experience within an international banking environment
  •       Extensive knowledge of custody business & change management expertise
  •       Experience in orders dealing and settlement in investment funds.
  •       Good oral and written communication skills, English, French
  •       Ability to work under stress with strong team spirit and cooperation skills.
  •       Ability to work in autonomy and being empowered to think outside the box

 

 

  • Nice-to-have
  •       Banking experience in other sectors
  •       Ability to create documents (SLAs, procedures, training material)
  •       Knowledge in Microsoft products.
