We are looking for a smart, innovative, results-oriented, eager-to-learn individual to join our global Trading System Integration Engineering team. The role requires hands on testing, deployment, management and scaling of our complex and highly distributed trading system platforms. The role also involves designing new trading functionality and workflows front to back, deploying upgrades to the system, come up with innovative ways to automate work via scripting (Python/Perl), troubleshooting problems, and interfacing with traders. The successful candidate is expected to forge close partnership with colleagues from different technology teams and hence team work and good English communication (verbal and written) are must. Knowledge of the financial industry or Equity Sales Trading not required.
· Strong Linux/Script (Python, or/and Perl) skills
· Good troubleshooting and debugging skills
· Strong interpersonal skills to work under the pressure
· Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
· Working knowledge of C++/C preferred
· Experience in test driven development
· Experience with Git
· Experience designing and developing large scale distributed client/server systems, a bonus
· Front Office (Sales & Trading) development experience
· Knowledge of FIX protocol related to order management
